I'm Chenshuhao (Cody) Qin — a Computer Science graduate student at USC and a Duke Kunshan / Duke University alumnus. My interests sit at the intersection of AI systems, cloud infrastructure, and data platforms.

I recently completed an AI Engineering internship at Alibaba Cloud — ranked a global top-4 cloud service provider — building agent infrastructure for multimodal data platforms: Kubernetes, distributed Ray execution, and LLM data agents in the Qwen ecosystem, with 5 merged PRs in the open-source Data-Juicer ecosystem.

Previously I've taken ideas from prototype to production across healthcare, gaming, energy, and finance: multimodal retrieval at Blueberry AI, AIGC pipelines at G-bits, grid fault diagnosis at Tsinghua, speech AI at ABC — plus a university-adopted campus AI assistant (ChatDKU) and an Apple WWDC23 Swift Student Challenge win.

Co-founded an AI assistant serving the DKU community — indexing 12,000+ webpages and hundreds of documents over a privately deployed LLM, with hybrid search (BM25 + vectors), HyDE, multi-level Redis caching, and SSO web deployment. The system has since been deployed at DKU and recognized by multiple university offices; I documented its architecture and development as a DKU Signature Work.
